LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OGBOMOSHO (LAUTECH) ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL ADMITTED STUDENTS

This is to inform the entire university community especially students who were offered provisional admission during the 2023/2024 admission exercise to present two (2) copies each of the underlisted documents to the Admissions and Undergraduate Records Unit as from Tuesday, May 21, 2024 to Friday, June 21, 2024 at the “THE HALL” between 9:00am and 4:00pm each working day.

Upon presentation of the documents, students will be given two (2) files in which the documents will be inserted for onward submission to the various Faculties and Departments.

2 copies of notification of recommendation for admission

2. 2 copies of JAMB Admission letter

3. 2 copies of verified O’ Level result(s)

4. 2 copies of original JAMB Result Slip

5. 2 copies of receipt of payment of acceptance fee

6. 2 copies of birth certificate or sworn affidavit of birth

7. 2 copies of National Identification Number (NIN)

8. 2 letters of recommendation from reputable persons

9. Original sworn affidavit of good behavior and one (1) copy of same

10. Original receipt of purchase of student Hand Book and one (1) copy of same

11. 2 copies of Medical Clearance form

12. 2 copies of certificate of Toxicology Test.

12. 2 copies of receipt of payment of tuition fee

13. 2 copies of Bio-data form

14. 2 copies of Dress Code

15. 2 recent passport photographs.

16. 2 copies of oath of allegiance form printed from the student portal (to be printed after matriculation ceremony).

Any of the concerned students who fail to comply with this directive may forfeit his/her admission as his/her details will not be profiled in either the faculty or department.

E DON HAPPEN: University Suspends Student For Proposing To Female On Campus

A 200 level student of department of Computer Science, Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Kano, Abdullahi Juli Mansur, on Tuesday was suspended for immoral behaviour on campus. Mansur’s suspension follows his public show of affection to a female school mate on campus, an open demonstration of love considered as immoral by the school authority. Mansur was seen on a short video clip that went viral on social media when he attempted to extend a red bouquet to a female student in the school premises. Although the supposed admirer did not to accept the offer of the ‘lover boy’ in public, the mild drama however attracted attention of other students who lighted up the atmosphere with cheers. Doctor recounts how a married woman was sent home 24 hours after arriving NYSC camp after she was caught having an affair. The doctor known as @the_beardedsina took to X to share his experience from his service year at Rivers state camp. He said that he camped at Non-wam Gbam Tai Rivers during which a married woman was caught having sx with a fellow camper. In line with the rules of the NYSC programme of not having sx on camp, the married woman was sent home.
